There are only two northern white rhinos left on Earth. Both of them are female, as the last male white rhino, Sudan, died in 2018. Does it matter?
We think it does, which is why our logo is a rhino.
There are eight million species on Earth, and around one million animal and plant species are now threatened with extinction [1]. The passenger pigeon, the Dodo bird, the Golden toad, the Hawaii chaff flower, and the St. Helena olive tree no longer are found on this planet. Does the loss of one species impact me? Does it impact you? Yes.
Mahatma Gandhi understood that “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”
We need to care about the creatures that also call this planet home. We need to help the next generation understand that all life matters, and as human beings we are the stewards of the earth. We have the power to give voice to the voiceless and protect the biodiversity and beauty of this planet as we learn to love, appreciate, and understand those creatures that inhabit this earth with us. We want everyone to care and do their part.
This is a core tenet of our company; we want you and those you love to appreciate the earth and all of its amazing, diverse inhabitants.
Happy puzzling!
